Hydraulic conversion on an old Grey Saw bench

Just finished another hydraulic conversion on one of our old saw benches. This machine was built in 1981 and worked for around 30 years in its first life. I reconditioned it back to standard in 2012 for Andrew Williams from LJ Williams Timber. We have been discussing an hydraulic conversion for a while and he had a chance to visit Bowraville sawmill when I converted Matt Dyers machine. I have included a video of Andrews bench on its first startup after the conversion. Seeing this 40 year old saw bench running as a current model configuration was impressive to say the least.
